At this meeting, Mr. Bashir Al-Momani, the Director General of the Jordan Media Commission, provided a detailed explanation of the new system. This included licensing mechanisms, the categories covered, cases exempt from licensing, associated fees and regulatory procedures, and the professional and regulatory benefits the system aims to achieve within the digital content creation and media sector. He emphasized that the system aims to establish a clear regulatory framework for the sector and to enhance professionalism and legal clarity; keeping pace with the rapid developments in digital media.
For his part, Falah Al Sughyar, President of the Advertising & Marketing Services Companies Association (AMSA Jordan), stressed the importance of strengthening dialogue and partnership between the public and private sectors.
