Cannes Lions has announced its 2026 Direct Categories 'Awarding Jury' and has selected a juror from Jordan, Hadi Alaeddin, the Senior Creative Director - EMEA at .Pomelo, the Jordan-based regional creative agency.
Had is an award-winning creative director with 18+ years of experience in the industry, specializing in graphic design, branding, and advertising. He’s a designer that sometimes writes good copy, then goes to make good copy look good in film and print.
Hadi was at Memac Ogilvy until 2020, then joined .Pomelo, the creative practice powered by APCO Worldwide. As the Regional Creative Director in EMEA, he leads a team of 55+ creatives across six countries, bridging the gap between what people used to call traditional comms and PR and the constantly changing world of creative.
Hadi co-founded Warsheh in 2011, an influential graphic design name in the Arab world at that time, working within Amman's cultural scene, exhibiting work and designing apparel and posters. That foundation gave him a unique perspective.
