Minister of Government Communication, Mohammad Momani, met with a delegation of board members of the General Association of Advertising and Marketing Services Companies (AMSA)in Jordan.
The delegation included the association President, Falah Sughayar, Deputy of the association President Mohammad Nabulsi, Zeid Nasser the Secretary General of the association and Omar Armouti the Treasurer of the association.They presented information regarding the association and its efforts to serve the advertising and marketing companies in the country, and also proposed ways to cooperate with the Ministry.
His Excellency the minister emphasized the importance of the advertising and marketing services sector as a fundamental pillar in stimulating economic activity and enhancing the competitiveness of institutions locally and regionally. He pointed to the importance of enhancing the efficiency of this sector so that it can be an effective partner in achieving Jordan's economic vision, in addition to strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors.
Sughayar emphasized during the meeting the role of the Association, its mission, its activities and its local and international cooperation to stimulate the sector. He noted that there are approximately 2,486 companies licensed to conduct advertising and publicity of which over 350 are actively and successfully providing such services to thousands of clients across Jordan and regionally.
The attendees affirmed their readiness to cooperate with relevant authorities to participate in national efforts to promote and advertise public and official occasions, as well as cultural and economic events, both locally and internationally.
